Microgreens Seem Promising

1.) Pour 1/3 cup water over a soil disk, which expands and is easy to spread around this six-inch-long tray.

2.) Spread the seeds evenly and sprinkle a few more tablespoons of water on them. (I'm attempting to grow broccoli, kale, kohlrabi and cabbage sprouts.)

3.) Cover and leave it alone for 48 hours. Then, I hope to find little sprouts popping out. After they sprout, I'm supposed to give them a few tablespoons of water each day and should be able to harvest the sprouts between Days 7 and 10. (I believe there are many ways to do this, but I used a kit from BackToTheRoots.com.)

I'll let you know how it grows.

Out here, Megan
